Who We Are

The Clinical Research Center of the Carolinas is renowned for its contributions to dermatological and medical research for nearly two decades. Founded by Dr. Todd Schlesinger, the center’s team of physicians, physician assistants, and clinical research coordinators partner with pharmaceutical and medical device companies, along with research organizations, to conduct clinical trials for new medicines and medical devices to expand treatment options for patients to improve patient’s quality of life.

The CRCC team conducts sponsored clinical trials in phases I-IV. Our investigator-initiated capabilities include:

Diane has over 25 years of experience in the field of clinical research, and has been a Certified Clinical Research Professional since 1996. She handles CRCC’s start up regulatory processes, to include contract & budget negotiations.

Gina is a compassionate nurse and clinical research coordinator dedicated to improving healthcare. She positively impacts the community by conducting research trials to assist with the advancement of future medication for those in need.

Georgina (Gina) Gregory RN

Clinical Research Coordinator

Jenna is passionate about research and the advancement of future treatments for those in need. After graduating from Furman University, she developed her career as a Clinical Research Coordinator. She spent four years at the Duke Cancer Institute working in melanoma oncology prior to joining the CRCC team. Outside of the office, she enjoys gardening, home improvement projects, and spending time with her two children.


Jenna Goodwin

Clinical Research Coordinator

Samara is a Charleston native and College of Charleston alumna who is passionate about research and improving patient’s quality of life. She has clinical research experience in Alzheimer’s disease, hematology oncology, and dermatology. Outside of research, Samara likes to play volleyball and spend time with her dog.
